Suddenly the wolf dropped to the ground, letting out a blood curdling howl as fur began to petrify, stiffening and becoming brittle before falling off, leaving the wolf bald, all muscles began to spasm at once quick vibrating movements as they tore away from the bone, moving, changing shape. Bones snapped, cracked and popped out of the sockets as they re-arranged themselves before the howling turned into screaming as she lay naked on the grass, the scream was quickly cut short as the larynx of the young girl tore and shifted size. Her organs slowly began to function again as they grew rapidly to their proper sizes, sitting delicately in her once again human torso, until, finally her heart started to pump once more and Vladir Gavrik lay there gasping for breath, lungs expanding and contracting as she panted heavily and willed the pain that consumed her flesh and bone to settle somewhere deep inside until the next moon.
